FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Limpid and colorless solution 10ml vial.

COMPOSITION FOR ONE 1OML VIAL :
Chloramphenicol (INN) 50 mg
Conservator 0.002%
(Phenylamine nitrate)
Excipients q.s 1 vial.

PROPERTIES :
Bacteriostatic antibiotics, with large spectrum, of the Phenicoles family.

INDICATIONS :
Infections of eye or its annexes, due to germs sensitive to chloramphenicol.
Ulceration of the cornee, bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharite, dacryocystite.

DOSAGE :
Instill 2 drops into the inner corner of the eye, 3 to 6 times a day, in regular interval.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to the product.
Antecedents of medulIary deficiency.
ln infants under 6 months.

INTERACTIONS :
Association with other ophthalmic preparations containing antibiotics is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
The use of eye lotion in an extended time or with small repeated doses is proscribed because it can lead to adverse effects like medullary aplasia.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Possibility of allergic reactions such as itching, red blotch and swelling that are not present before treatment.
