FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Yellow capsules in a box of 2 blisters of 10.
COMPOSITION PER CAPSULE :
Tramadol (INN) 50mg.
(as Tramadol hydrochlorhyde).
Excipients for one capsule.
EXCIPIENTS WITH KNOWN EFFECT :
Lactose.
PROPERTIES :
Opioid analgesic with central action, efficient by a synergy of opioide and monoaminergic central effect.
INDICATIONS :
Treatment of moderate to acute pain with adult and children over 15 years old.
DOSAGE :
Acute pain : starting dosage is 2 capsules.
Chronic pain : dosage should be 1 to 2 capsules for starting.
Then 1 to 2 capsule should be taken every 4 to 6 hours without exceeding 400mg per day.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to the product.
Treated epilepsy out of control.
Respiratory and hepatic impairment.
INTERACTIONS :
Avoid association with Carbamazepine, Iproniazide, Moclobemide, Toloxatose, Selegiline, Linezolide.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Avoid during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Drinking of alcohol is not recommended.
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Rarely, digestive troubles, nausea, diarrhea, vertigo. Sometime sleepiness, constipation, dry mouth.
