FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Orange powder for oral suspension, with orange flavor.
Box of 12 bags.

COMPOSITION FOR ONE BAG :
Oxacillin (INN) 250mg
(as Oxacillin sodium salt BP)
Excipients q.s 1 bag

PROPERTIES :
Antibiotic of the betalactamine family, penicillinase resistant, active on Staphylococcus producers or not of penicillinase with the exception of meti-R layers, Streptococcus expect group D.

INDICATIONS :
Genito-urinary, ENT (Ear Nose and Throat), skin osteoarticular or respiratory infections, due to sensitive germs and particularly to Staphylococcus.

DOSAGE :
250mg suspension is adapted for children 1 to 8 years of age.
Dissolve the powder in water or fruit juice.
Dosage: 35 to 50 mg / Kg of weight per day, preferably before meals. The 500mg tablet is recommanded for adults and children over 8 years old (or more yhan 25 Kg).

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to penicillin and cephalosporin.

INTERACTIONS :
Particular problems of coagulation imbalance:
Numerous cases of increase in anti-coagulating oral activity for patients receiving antibiotics.
Age and general health of the patient, the infectious or distinct inflammatory context, appear as riks factors.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
For the asthmatic.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Mild digestive distubances or cutaneous.
Allergy dsitrubances: fever, hives, oedema Quincke, rare anaphylactics shock.
