FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Pink powder for oral suspension, with vanilla / strawberry flavor.
Box of 12 bags.

COMPOSITION FOR ONE BAG :
Erythromycin (INN)    250mg
(as erythromycin ethylsuccinate BP)

EXCIPIENTS WITH KNOW EFFECT:
Sucrose.

PROPERTIES :
Anti-bactericidal antibiotics of the macrolide family.
Active on Streptococcus, Staphylococcus meti-S , Helicobacter pylori , Campilobacter jejuni , Corynebacterium diphteria , Mycoplasma pneumonia , Chlamidies, Legionella, Treponema, Haemophilus.

INDICATIONS :
Respiratory and ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) infections.
Renal urogenital or gynecologic infections.
Dermatological or stomach infections.
Allergy to betalactamine.
Chimioprohylaxy relapse of AAR (Acute Articular Rheumatism).

DOSAGE :
125mg suspension is adapted for children from 3 monthes to 2 years old of age.
250mg suspension is adapted for children 1 to 8 years old.
Dissolve the powder in water or fruit juice.

Dosage: 30 to 50 mg / Kg of weight per day, preferably before meals.
The 500mg tablets is recommanded for adults and for children over 8 years old (or more than 25 Kg).

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Allergy to macrolid and particularly to erythromycin.
Some medicinal associations (see below).

INTERACTIONS :
Associations not indicated : Rye smut  vaso-constrictors (ergotamin, dihydroergotamin).
Non sedative anti-histamin.
Associations not advised: Carbamazepin, theophyllin and aminophyllin.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Liver failure, breastfeeding.
Diabetes : take into account the sugar level of the suspension.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Frequent digestive distturbances : diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, gastric pains.
Rare allergic disturbances.
