M-Amoxicilline - Capsule 500mg

FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Yellow and red capsule.
10 blisters of 10 capsules.

COMPOSITION FOR ONE CAPSULE :
Amoxicillin (INN)                   500mg.
(as tri-hydrate amoxicillin BP).

EXCIPIENTS WITH KNOWN EFFECT :
None

PROPERTIES :
Bactericidal antibiotic of beta-lactamin family.
Activity linked with inhibition of protein synthesis of the bacterial cell walls.
Active on streptococcus, pneumococcus, gonococcus, colibacillus, shigelle, salmonella, hémophylus.

INDICATIONS :
Respiratory, N.E.T or stomatology infections.
Renal, genito-urinary infections.

DOSAGE :
The presentation with 500mg is recommended for adult and children over 6 years.
Then usual dosage is 25 to 50mg / kg / day, that is 2 to 4 capsules cup each day, according to body weight. Can be taken either before, during or after meals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Allergy to penicillin and cephalosporin.
Infectious mononucleosis.

INTERACTIONS :
In case of association with allopurinol : risks of skin accidents.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Before any treatment, verify there is no allergy to penicillin and cephalosporin.
 
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Allergic accidents.
