FORM AND PRESENTATION :
Brown and round tablet.
Box of 30 tablets in blisters of 10.

COMPOSITION PER TABLET :
Dry extract of silybum marianum fruit    140mg
(Standardised according to German Commission E)
Active components :
Silymarin                    > 80 %
Silybinin                     > 30 %
Excipients q.s             1 tablet

PROPERTIES :
Standardised extract of silybum marianum (Milk Thistle) contain mainly silymarin, which is itself composed of 4 actives molecules from which silybinin is the most potent.
Silymarin protects and repairs hepatic cells.

INDICATIONS :
Viral hepatitis (chronic and acute).
Liver cirrhosis, alcoholic hepatitis.
Liver protection from medications that damage the liver.
Improvement of symptom of hepatic weakness

DOSAGE :
2 to 3 tablets a day during at least 4 weeks.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to silymarin.

INTERACTIONS :
None.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
None.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Rarely laxative effect or other gastrointestinal side-effects, mainly during the first days of treatment.
