FORM AND PRESENTATION :
White, round and flat tablet.
10 tablets by blister.
COMPOSITION PER TABLET :
Tri-silicate Magnesium BP 250mg
Hydroxide Aluminum BP 120mg
(as withered gel)
Medicinal mint oil 0.003ml
PROPERTIES :
Gastric and anti-acid dressing.
Aluminum hydroxide gel has a covering and absorbent power.
Magnesium tri-silicate too, but in addition it neutralizes gastric hyper acidity.
INDICATIONS :
Symptoms treatment of stomach, duodenum and esophagus pains.
Heartburn.
DOSAGE :
Crunch and chew well 2 tablets in case of pain.
If needed, take 2 tablets up to 6 times a day.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Serious renal deficiency.
INTERACTIONS :
Risk of overdose of quinidine, per decrease in its excretion.
Decrease in absorption of numerous drugs, such as :
cycline, fluoroquinolone, beta-bloquant, glucocorticoïde, chloroquine, ranitidine.
Take these drugs long time before/after M-Antacid (more than 2h and more than 4h for fluoroquinolone).
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Avoid taking other drugs in the same time (see interactions).
This symptoms treatment does not spare a possible treatment by the anti-ulcerous. In case of pains, consult the physician.
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
In case of extended use, there is a risk of phosphorus loss.
