FORM AND PRESENTATION :
White dermic cream.
Tube of 20g.

COMPOSITION FOR ONE TUBE :
Terbinafine (INN)                  200mg
(as terbinafine hydrochloride)
Excipients q.s                           20g

EXCIPIENTS WITH KNOW EFFECT :
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate

PROPERTIES :
Terbinafine is an allylamine which has a broad spectrum antifongic activity.
Active on dermatophytes (such as Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton), yeast (such as Candida, Pityrosporum and Malassezia furfur).

INDICATIONS :
Treatment of fungal infections of the skin caused by dermatophytes as well as yeast infections of the skin caused by candida and pityriasis versicolor (tinea) caused by  Malassezia furfur.

DOSAGE :
The affected area should be cleansed and dried before application of M-Terbinafin cream.The cream should be applied evening to the affected skin and surrounding area in a thin layer and rubbed in lightly.
In the case of intertriginous infections (submammary, interdigital, intergluteal, inguinal) the application may be covered with a gauze strip, especially at night.
Apply the cream during at least 2 weeks.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to the drug.

INTERACTIONS :
None.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNING :
Avoid any contact with eyes.
In case of candida infection neutral soap should be used.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Redness, itching occasionally occur at the site of application.
