FORM AND PRESENTATION :
White and long tablet.
Box of 6 tablets in aluminum foils.

COMPOSITION FOR 1 TABLET :
Clotrimazole (INN) BP 200mg
Tinidazole (INN) BP 500mg

PROPERTIES :
Clotrimazole is of the imidazole family. It is an active antifungic against most of fungus such as Candida and other yeast. It has an antibacterial activity against the Gram+, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.
Tinidazole is also an imidazole whose anti-parasitic activity is strong against Trichomonas vaginalis. It also has an anti-bacterial activity.

INDICATIONS :
Local treatment of the vaginitis due to Trichomonas and / or fungus vaginitis developing a secondary infection or not.
Unspecific vaginitis.

DOSAGE :
1 tablet each day in the evening at bedtime for 6 to 12 days.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION :
Insert deeply in the vagina the tablet preliminary soaked in water with or without applicator.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Allergy to one of the components.
Use of latex condom.

INTERACTIONS :
None

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Stop the treatment in case of persistent irritation and consult the physician.

ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Sensation of burn and itching sometimes.

PRACTICAL ADVICE :
Toilet with a neutral or alkaline soap.
Hygiene advice : wear cotton undergarments, avoid vaginal bath and wearing of internal tampons during treatment.
