FORM AND PRESENTATION :
White dermic cream in 15g tube.
COMPOSITION FOR ONE TUBE :
Betamethasone (INN) valerate 15mg
Neomycine (INN) sulphate 0.5%
Excipients q.s. 15g.
EXCIPIENTS WITH KNOW EFFECT :
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate
PROPERTIES :
Dermocorticoïde associated with antibiotic.
Anti-inflammatory, immune-depressor and anti-infectious for local use.
INDICATIONS :
Eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis with secondary infection.
Treatment by association with antibiotic compared to treatment by sole corticoide is superior only the first week and in case of secondary infection.
DOSAGE :
One or two daily application in thin layer, by massing slightly until total absorption of the product. More daily application would be to worsen adverse effects without improving therapeutic effect.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to the product.
Lifeless wound, acne, bedsore, leg ulcer, rosacea.
Application on the eyelids (risk of glaucoma).
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
In case of microbial infection, use appropriate antibiotic treatment before use of this product.
If a local intolerance appears, the application of the product should be interrupted and replaced by an appropriate treatment.
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Using on large surfaces could bring about systemic absorption with cortico-dependence : Cushion syndrome, children growth slowing down.
