FORM AND PRESENTATION :Controlled Release tablet, orange colour, round and flat.
Box of 3 blisters of 10 tablets.
COMPOSITION PER TABLET :
Nifedipine (INN) 20mg
Excipients q.s 1 tablet
PROPERTIES :
Antihypertensive, Selective calcic inhibitor with vascular effet by lowering vascular tonus, bringing about peripheral and coronary vasodilatation.
INDICATIONS :
Arterial hypertension.
DOSAGE :
1 tablet 2 time a day, swallowed without crunch it.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Hypersensitivity to nifedipine.
Less than one month myocardial infarction.
Unstable angor.
Pregnacy, breast feeding.
INTERACTIONS :
Association with other anti-hypertension can reinforce their action.
Association with cimetidine (≥ 800mg/j), baclofene : it increase effect of nifedipine.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :
Be careful in case of unstable hemodynamic conditions (collapse, hypovolemy, cardiogenic shock).
With stable coronary angor, tret first with bete-blocking agent.
ADVERSE EFFECTS :
Because of the peripheral vasodilatation, particularly at the beginning of the treatment : legs edema, cephalalgia, vertigo, nausea.
