Diethylamin diclofenac BP 1%
Excipents qsp 30g
PROPERTIES
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
The gel, after massage, is absorbed through the skin and the diclofenac is found in the liquid and the synovial tissues, in concentration much higher than those found in plasma.
INDICATIONS
M-Diclofenac skin gel is used in external applications to relieve
pains and local inflammations, the tendonitis, lumbago, arthritis.
Post-traumatic edema.
DOSAGE
3 to 4 applications each day, with light massage in the painful and inflammatory zone.
After penetration of the gel through the skin, if necessary put a bandage.
Reserved to adults and teen-agers.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Allergy to diclofenac and to any AINS.
Burn, weeping dermatosis.
INTERACTIONS
None.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Late pregnancy and lactation.
Association with diuretics.
ADVERSE EFFECTS
Rare reactions of allergic type can appear, such as pruritus or rash.
