FORM AND PRESENTATION
White, round and flat breakable tablet.
10 tablets by blister.

COMPOSITION PER1 TABLET
Maleate chlorpheniramine (INN) BP 4mg

PROPERTIES
Antihistaminic through action over H1 peripheral receptors.
Atropinic and sedative effect.

INDICATIONS
Treatment of allergic reactions.
Hay fever, coryza, tracheites.
Quincke’s edema.
Food and drug allergy reactions.
Insect stings, urticaria, itching.

DOSAGE
Adults : 2 to 4 tablets each day to be divided in 3
Children over 6 years: 1 to 2 tablet(s) each day.  

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Glaucoma.
Uretro-prostatic disturbances.

INTERACTIONS
Alcohol increase sedative effect of chlorpheniramine.
Atropinic products : addition of adverse effects of urinary retention type, constipation, mouth dryness.
Depressors of SNC : increase in effects of central depression.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Do not use this product during the first quarter of pregnancy.
Take into consideration the risk of sleepiness after the use of this product.
Alcohol absorption.
Intake of barbiturates.

ADVERSE EFFECTS
Sleepiness.
Atropinic effects like urinary retention, mouth dryness, viscosity of bronchial secretions, accommodation disturbances, constipation, mental confusion or excitation in aged person.
